David Roberson (#1 generation) was born in the state of New York in 1808, he moved to St. Clair County,
MI after 1830 but before 1834. I don't know if and wife Anna Mariah (Maria) Weeks married in New York or
in Michigan. Maria also born in New York. All their children were born in Michigan.
The surname Roberson is often spelled Robertson and Robinson in old records and obituaries. However it
is spelled Roberson on David and Maria's tombstones and that is the way current generations spell it.
For years I have searched for the parents of David Roberson finding no tibit of information on them. However I have come up with a Roberson (Robinson, Robertson) family in New York that I think is David's parents and siblings.
